    Great-sized rooms with private bathroom, free Wi-Fi. Good and peaceful location in a good area just off an island on a major road. Again, not far from Stondon Transport Museum.

    I stayed for 2 nights at bird in hand , and it was a pleasant surprise. The room was basic but clean, and the pub below had a wonderful atmosphere with friendly locals. I really enjoyed the indian food available nearby.
